The first quarter of 2021 is almost done, and we thought we'd have a look at the performance of equity markets around the world.

Using the FactSet series of world indices, whose total market capitalization currently stands at US$ 106 trillion, here are a couple of charts summarizing the best and worst performing markets this year :
